![]() ![]() So being the ‘Creative Mode’ person I am, imagine my enthusiasm for Hytale, the amount of control that is said to come with Hytale is amazing, giving us access to some of the same tools the developers used to create the game – that’s mind-blowing, I’m sure you’ve seen some of the more extravagant Minecraft builds, I can only imagine how spectacular the builds will be in Hytale. It was his video, posted a couple months ago, that I heard of Hytale, he described everything known about the game at the time and shared his excitement about possibilities of Hytale – it seems to be everything we’ve wanted Minecraft to be. ![]() For years, I’ve followed a Minecraft player who goes by ‘Jagthunder’, like me, he was strictly a Creative Mode player – he just enjoys building structures and various types of vehicles. So, after they patched the game and didn’t require Internet, I picked it up, by that time it was only like 25 bucks, but I never could get into it and went back to Minecraft. I even bought the latest SimCity game on PC back around 2015, I think it was released back in ’14, originally it required an Internet connection to play and although I’ve always had a decent connection available, I just don’t like that restraint – I want to be able to put years of time in on something, I want to know that I’ll be able to play it anytime I want, even if the game servers are gone. Eventually, (around 6 months ago) I started to get bored with Minecraft and decided I was going to find a new game to play. ![]() I tried to start a new world on the PC but couldn’t get into it given the hundreds of hours I spent working on my PS4 version, I even spent weeks looking for a PS4 to PC world converter – no luck. After building for a few years on my world, I began regretting starting out on the PS4 version because I felt I was missing out on all the updates and customization options available on the PC edition. I dabbled a little bit, but around 4 years ago I sat down with the PS4 version and stated a Minecraft world and called it ‘Jurrasic Park’ this was back in 2014 when they first promoted the ‘Jurassic World’ movie, I do have the PC version, but never played it. ![]() Fast forward a couple years and finally I visited my brother and he showed it to me – it was perfect, the ultimate ‘Lego’ set. After Minecraft first came out I honestly thought it was a card game, something like ‘Magic’ or Pokémon – and that’s not my thing. There even was a time I played with 3-D using Maya, mostly builds from Tutorial Books, I like Photoshop too. When computer games came along, I played SimCity, SimTower, SimCity 3000, SimCity 4, and The Sims games, the early ones, they lost me with ‘The Sims 2’ I stuck to building houses, I didn’t care about the actual storyline part. I used to light my Lego houses up using Christmas lights and a 6-volt battery, at one point when I was younger I collected my grandpa’s Skoal Tobacco cans (I had hundreds) and used them to build forts. I love to build things, I’ve had Lincoln Logs (I’m 39 years old), Legos, and everything in-between. Ok, here’s a little background – I told you I had a lot to say. ![]()
